I can't write PWP any more! Every time I try, it keeps turning into h/c! :-(

I mean, okay, Jack/Giles post-CoE fic is pretty much *going* to be h/c whatever you do with it, but it started out as just a nice bit of porn and now it looks like it's going to be another bloody epic like the Nine/Simm!Master fic!

Blame it on RTD for torturing his characters so badly they need emotional intensive care. If nothing else, I'm hoping that Moffat will have a slightly lighter touch on the angst-mobile. (Now that I'm actually watching Buffy, I'll have to go back and re-read all the Jack/Giles stuff.)

Bloody annoying when that happens! Mind you, I've never been able to write a 'proper' pwp - *stuff* always sneaks in somehow.

And I'm rather partial to a bit of h/c, especially if it involves Giles and Jack!

On the one hand, I feel for you. I always find myself having to ruthlessly clip plot threads if I'm aiming for PWP.

On the other hand, I so totally don't object to a Jack/Giles epic. Gods, do I love what you do with that pairing. :)

Yeah, I've only managed it once or twice myself. And, well, there *has* to be a bit of something else or it's not worth writing. I just don't know if I have the confidence for another epic. The writing's okay; it's just all that editing that kills me!
