Just spent a fabulous late afternoon/early evening with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
dune_drd. Picked her up from Stansted with no problem except that her plane was a little late arriving so we ended up going over the hour on the parking and having to pay a whopping £6.40 instead of £3.40! Brought her back here for dinner, having a good chat and playing with Jack in the meantime, and showing off all her lovely little Adiposes - I have mine here now - incredibly cute! Then we watched Rhubarb and Custard (classic kids' tv programme) with Jack till his bedtime, then Andy took him up to bed and we talked a bit more. Then I drove her to the station. Had a great time - she's a lovely person. :-)
Jack, incidentally, is still not asleep. Too much excitement. :-( When he does go, I don't think I'll be far behind him. I've been managing okay on several nights of just not being able to get to sleep, but I'm absolutely shattered now.
