Master Plan update

Thank goodness. The Master's back in my head! *g*

I haven't been able to do anything on Master Plan for the last two days - my brain's just been shying away from it - but I've just written 322 words for the new chapter and a another 126 for a further one, and I'm so relieved.

It helps a lot that I've actually figured out what's going on this chapter at last. I had three separate chunks that could have been the opening (one Doctor-related, one Jack, one Martha) and I couldn't work out where I was going. BUt I've decided on the main theme for this chapter now which means I can finally get on and properly write it!

It'll probably still take me a week or so to finish it, so don't hold your breath, but at least I know where I'm going now!

Further update

Trying not to sound too happy while everyone else seems to be having problems, but...

I've written 1,313 words today. I think that's probably all there's going to be, considering I'm out at rehearsal tonight and I have things to do before then (not least a fic to beta), but I'm really really chuffed because it's very rarely that I write that much in one day, especially without having a lot of it in my head already. Certainly makes up for the weekend!

So the chapter is currently standing at 2,600 and I'm getting excited again. Yay!
