Thought about visualisation of writing

A very long time ago when I did my commentary on Becky's Change, we had a little conversation about where we were viewing the scene from. In that case we discovered that even though the story was from Jack's POV, we were both viewing it from over the Doctor's shoulder. Probably because he was the one actively doing things, though I later realised that in my case it might be simply that (in my visualisation of the scene anyway) Jack had turned round since he entered the room and I'm not good at turning a scene round in my head. Something to do with viewing it like theatre, I expect.
