My little Jack's amazing. He actually got a verbal joke this morning. He'd spilt milk over his fabric book and said, "Oh no! Book wet! Put it in washing machine!"

To which I replied, somewhat sarcastically, "Jack, I think I need to tell you something: you put it in the washing machine and it's just going to get even more wet!"

And he giggled! He totally got the joke. I just couldn't believe it!

Also, later this morning, we went to the little playground behind our local shops for the first time in several weeks. The last time we were there, some boys had got their football stuck in one of the trees. And this morning Jack pointed to the tree and said, "Boys got football down tree." What a memory!

In other news, I watched DW last night, and loved every minute of it. It was funny, really funny, even there were a few rather cliched bits, but I'm willing to forgive them since it really was classic DW and I loved it.
