Well, if you two could just sort that out for me while i'm out... *g*
(I have the Master and the Doctor getting drunk in MP too, thought that could be on something else, but it would be nice to know - and yeah, canon = on screen, definitely.)#
says this: "Time Lords metabolize alcohol very quickly so it is almost impossible for them to become drunk. Some Time Lords have very fine control over the rate at which they metabolize alcohol and special meditations allow a Time Lord to regulate their metabolism making inebriation possible."
But it's in orange, and that means book, rather than TV canon.
Oddly enough, the only thing in red (TV canon) that he drinks is tea. They missed the banana daquiri. *g* But--he was faking drunk in that scene to get close enough to pour the anti-oil on the robots, so...I dunno.
I've seen people take the route that Time Lords can get drunk if they WANT to.
And if it's not tv canon that they can't get drunk, that's good enough for me. :-)
I don't read the books and I have never considered them as anything more than optional canon. Same with Buffy, where I did read a few of the books, before realising there was much better stuff available free on the Net. *g*
And yeah, I know the banana daquiri was probably a joke. Just thought I'd throw it into the conversation! :-)
