Children In Need Special - Time Crash

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant!

"You've changed the desktop theme?" - fantastic line!

And the idea of the Doctor being his own biggest fan.

And the wibbly-wobbly-timey-wimey stuff.

And the mention of the Master.

And just Peter Davison being so lovely, and David Tennant being sooooooo geeky fan-boy - the adoration in his face all the way through... So much fun. So wonderful! Love it.

(Oh, and I guess "Check out this bone structure, Doctor, 'cos one day you're going to be shaving it" answers the question once and for all about whether Time Lords need to shave!)

On the other hand, John, you were crap. Stick to musicals. Nice outfit and hair, though. :-)

What, the beard thing? I almost choked. And had to watch it again.

No, that was Jen saying she'd never heard of "fools never differ" and we were wondering if it was a British saying.

"Fools never differ," huh? Nope, I don't think that's a saying around here.

Besides the beard comment, it sort of amuses me that they've just got eight minutes and the Master comes up in the conversation. 'Course, Five and Ten are both fast talkers, so they can get a good bit of dialogue into eight minutes!

I really, really wasn't expecting a mention of the Master. Not even considering what had just gone before (i.e. YoH).

Mind you, Ten sounded awfully chirpy talking about the Master, didn't he? "He showed up again recently" or whatever. Nothing about "Oh, he died in my arms and refused to regenerate and then I burned him on a pyre to make sure he'd really gone for good this time."

Maybe he's totally expecting him back and all our fics with him mourning are getting it all wrong! *g*

Heh--maybe so! The Master's certainly come back from being really-dead-we-mean-it-this-time enough.

Oooh, that makes a change - different Master/Doctor pairing! *g*

I still only have this one, I'm afraid. :-)

And yeah, I mean, we're all expecting the Master back at some point, aren't we? But maybe the Doctor is as well. Hey, maybe those tears weren't because the Master died but merely because he wouldn't be coming along on the TARDIS! :-)
