I really, really wasn't expecting a mention of the Master. Not even considering what had just gone before (i.e. YoH).

Mind you, Ten sounded awfully chirpy talking about the Master, didn't he? "He showed up again recently" or whatever. Nothing about "Oh, he died in my arms and refused to regenerate and then I burned him on a pyre to make sure he'd really gone for good this time."

Maybe he's totally expecting him back and all our fics with him mourning are getting it all wrong! *g*
