Wild Blue Yonder (Doctor Who 14.2)

Quick review because I didn't write much down and really need to rewatch to get my thoughts in order, but havn't had a chance yet!

I really, really enjoyed this. I loved the idea of giving the Doctor and Donna a whole episode to themselves, to give both them and us the chance to really explore their wonderful friendship and also to give the actors a chance to play and show off their acting skills. I really want to watch it again, and can imagine it’s going to be right up there with Heaven Sent for me (I’ve seen people comparing it to Midnight too, but it was Heaven Sent that came to mind for me).

It really was very creepy at times, along with giving me a really good laugh, and that is exactly what Doctor Who is all about for me. Such a relief to be able to relax into that again, and enjoy it.

More (hopefully) once I’ve had a chance to watch it again!
