And I find that if the passion is there, I somehow find the time. (Impacting on everything else of course.)
Yes, indeed. Which I guess is why sometimes I still write reactions and reviews (and, very occasionally, fic), because something stirs enough energy in me and the words just keep coming. Of course, a lot of the time I just don't get round to writing them down. I 'write' a hell of a lot of comments, reviews and beginnings-of-fics that never get written down and therefore get lost, which is a hell of a shame! :-(
And yeah, different fandoms invoke different responses. My new 'current' fandom (as opposed to Supernatural which is new to me but has obviously finished for everyone else) seems to be the MCU, but there's just so much of it, and it's all movies and streaming TV so even if I could keep up with it there's no fixed air date or anything, so I don't tend to frequent forums in the same way I do the Doctor Who ones on Reddit (which seems to be where there are the most similar thing currently to how LJ/DW post-airing discussions used to be) and if I don't interact with people talking about a show, I don't process my own thoughts very thoroughly. I often dive into reviews and Den of Geek-type interesting thoughts, but if I'm just reading and not writing stuff myself, it's not the same.
Ah well. At least I have shows I'm enjoying watching, and doing a little bit of thinking about.
Anyway. Thank you for reading my little fic and I'm so glad you liked it! :-)
