Ah, right, yeah, S2 of DW is... probably my least favourite of new Who. I am half-asleep and genuinely did a double-take, because I basically wrote that sentence earlier on and deleted it. *g*
When we did our latest rewatch, we skipped quite a bit of that season! We have so far watched EVERYTHING (partly because in many cases it's been forever since we saw it, and in some cases I'm sure the 15 year old never watched it properly, being about 1 at the time). But it's hard to summon the enthusiasm. I need to focus on Martha and then Donna. <3
It really is. The whole stuff with Sarah Jane and Ten is tear-jearking in the extreme. Poor Sarah Jane.
You might like coming in to some of the later seasons. Especially the last season. That was really, really strong stuff. (just a thought, no pressure!) Once I have conquered Classic Who, we'll see.
