OK, the Jack's natural timeline thing sort of makes sense. I'll go with that.

And yeah, totally with you about the character. What started me really writing fanfic was trying to figure out Jack trying to come to terms with immortality (must dig those out and post them at some point, though they've been pretty much jossed now) because it just fascinates me. How much not being able to die must change a person.

I'm really looking forward to seeing my younger Jack too! Don't know much about him yet! *g*
